We've only been using these covers for a few weeks, but are very, very pleased with them. They stay in place and no liquid gets through.
This chair cover has already saved the new lift chair many times over! I can vouch for the fact that it is truly waterproof. I recommend you buy 2; one to wash and one to wear.

The cushion is very soft, washable, and easy to put on a wheelchair cushion. I'm going to buy another one so I can have a back up when I'm washing the other one.
